Having produced hundreds of issues of AWCI’s Construction Dimensions, trying to pick my favorite layouts is akin to asking me to pick my favorite pizza topping (Spoiler Alert: it’s not pineapple).

More often than not, submitted features for the magazine were not married with photography, so it was up to me to make the most of an iStock subscription and/or a variety of Photoshop and Illustrator techniques to create something compelling enough to warrant a reader’s attention. After going through a chunk of archives, these are four of my favorites though I’m positive there are tons more had I spent more time going down the rabbit hole.
