Hello.
IS IT ME YOU’RE LOOKING FOR?
Throughout the course of 17 years I’ve designed over 200 issues of an association magazine, multiple books, in-house advertising campaigns, third party advertisements, exhibit display booth panels, social media-driven images and a multitude of one-off specialty projects from VIP passes to captivating mailers and everything else in between. Yet, I’m always after the next challenge and have an unquenchable thirst for problem solving and on-the-fly brainstorming. While Superman may be able to leap buildings in a single bound, my super power is the ability to learn new things, quickly absorbing techniques and best practices, like a bone dry sponge being submerged in a sink full of water. I also find myself annoying (educating?) friends and family at restaurants when I point out poor typography aesthetics with menus and…which is perhaps a superpower I should attempt to quell.
In addition to design, my other love is for music production/editing/sound design and DJ’ing, the latter of which I’ve developed quite a successful side business that I started in 2011. I’m apt when it comes to editing/creating/mixing, Apple Logic X being my DAW of choice with numerous plugins and synthesizers being a part of the party as well.
I suppose the best way for me to sum this all up: I like things to look good and sound good.
